Custom Builds

This is a selection of custom builds that I designed over the years.

This is a custom-built lighting console based on the grandMA2 onPC software. It features 15 custom 60mm faders, a labeled macro keyboard, and four rotary encoders. Inside, an Intel mini PC runs the software. There is also an internal DMX node and a wireless DMX transmitter handling the output to the lights. This console is extremely useful when gigging, as it allows for a fast and simplified setup of the lighting control.

Custom grandMA2 onPC Console

This is a set of custom-built flight cases for gigging. The larger, bottom case was designed to fit all of the lights and the top case is the perfect size for a cable trunk. When stacked, they are at the ideal height to function as a desk, so it can be used comfortably to operate the lighting console and/or laptop. This allows for fast load-ins and outs and also serves as a safe way to transport equipment.

Custom FPV Drone

This is a fully custom-built first person view (FPV) drone. This drone features four 2400kv motors. It utilizes the TBS Source One frame as well as a Runcam Orange 5 to capture beautiful cinematic videos. This drone runs on Betaflight for full customizability and can fly at speeds upward of 80 miles per hour. It is best used for filming nature from unique, never-before-seen angles.

Home Assistant Dashboard

This is a custom dashboard display for Home Assistant. It utilizes a 7-inch touchscreen display allowing full control of whatever is on screen. This dashboard is fully customizable through Home Assistant, which is an open source home automation server that can be run locally. The display is powered by a Raspberry PI 3 Model B+, allowing the device to have a very small form factor.
